%r~EREAS, on the 24th day of October, 1966, the Council of
the City of Bakersfield, pursuant to the provisions of the g"Public
Service.Easements Vacation Law'g, beinE Sections 50430 to 50445~
inclusive~ of the Government Code of the State of California, passed
and adopted its Resolution of Intention No o 8189 declarinE its
intention to order the vacation of a sewer eesement in teB"' Street
between 16th Street and Truxtun Avenue~ situate.within the City of
Bakers field ~ County of Kem~ State of California, and
~REAS~ said Council did fix a time and place for
hearinE all persons interested in or objecting to said proposed
vacation, which said hearing was held on the 14th day of November~
1966, after notices were duly published and posted as required by
law, and
W~EREAS, this Council after duly considerinE the ~tter~
does hereby find and resolve as follows:
1. That said sewer easement, heroinafter described, is
unnecessary for present or prospective public use:
A strip of land 5 feet in widths 2°5 feet on either side
of the followins described center lined
A line 8.33 feet easterly from, measured at riaht shales
to, and parallel with ~he center line of "'B'~ Street
bet~een the southerly right of ~ay line of Truxtun Avenue,
formerly Railroad Avenue, and the northerly riEht of way
line of 16th Street, as said ~eB"" Street is shown on the
Map entitled "Map of the City of Bakersfield~', recorded
on pages 13 and 14 in Book 1 of Maps~ in the office of
the County Recorder of Kern County, California, on the
25th day of November, 1898o
2o That said sewer easement be and the same i~ hereby
vacated and abandoned, subject to and in conformity with said
Resolution of Intention No. 818o Reference to said Resolution of
In~ention is hereby made for further particulars°
3. Re City Clerk shall certify to the passaga o£ this
Resolution, and shall cause a certified co~y ~hereof~ attested by
the Clerk under ~he seal of the City~ to be recorded tn the office
of the County ~ecorder of ~ern County~ Ca~i£orniao

pasaed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a
regular meeting thereof held on the l~th day of Royember, 1966~ by
