before the City Council in order to determine if the properties in
the City of Bakersfle!d~ designated on the attached list marked
~"Exhibit A', had become a public nuisance, and
WI{ERF/S~ the owners of said property were duly notified
of the time and place of said hearing in accordance with the re-
quirements of Section 8°80 of the BakersfieldMunicipal Code, and
Wt{EREAS~ after hearing oral testimony the City Council
detez~nined that the weeds existing on said property are unsightly
and constitute a fire hazard which endangerm adjoining properties~
NOW, TMEREFORED BE IT RESOLVEDg
1o That the City Council of the City of Bakersfield
hereby finds that a public nuisance exists on the properties
named on the attached listo
2o That the Superintendent of Streets of the City of
Bakersfield is hereby directed to proceed with the work of abering
said public nuisance pursuant to the provisions of Section 8°80 of
the Bakersfield Municipal Code°
