A RESOLUTION ADOPTING CITY SCHEDULE OF
PAID HOLIDAYS FOR THE BLUE AND WHITE
COLLAR, GENERAL SUPERVISORY, POLICE
SUPERVISORY AND MANAGEMENT UNITS
VfHEREAS, the Charter of the City of Bakersfield, Section 12, authorizes the City Council
to provide for salaries and related benefits for officers and employees of the City; and
WHEREAS, the Council has not concluded its negotiations for employees in the Blue and
White Collar, General Supervisory, Police Supervisory and Management Units; and
WHEREAS, it is anticipated that such negotiations will not be concluded before the 1999
paid scheduled holiday.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield as
follows:
1. That the schedule of paid holidays for eligible employees in the Blue and White
Collar, General Supervisory, Police Supervisory and Management Units, attached hereto as Exhibit
A and incorporated as though fully set forth, is hereby adopted.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted by the
Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular meeting thereof held on DEC 0 9 1998 , by
