CONSENT CALENDAR
a. Minutes of the regular meeting of March 12, 2001.
b. Payments from March 2, to May 3, 2001 in the
amount of $2,062,457.54.
Davenport requested Finance Director Klimko provide
clarification of the disbursement of $2,901.36 to the
Bakersfield Californian.
Motion by Shroeder, seconded by Raphael, to adopt
Consent Calendar Items a. and b.

a. Oral report regarding the status of the City Center
Project.
Executive Director Tandy gave an oral report and
answered questions.

NEW BUSINESS
Consideration of Southeast PAC Member
Stephanie Campbell's request for reimbursement
of expenses for printing costs in the amount of
$110.33.
Stephanie Campbell explained the expenses
incurred.
Arriola requested staff provide information in
writing to future PAC members regarding
non-reimbursement for incurred financial
expenses.
Motion by Raphael, seconded by Davenport to
pay the expenses, $1f0.33, and notify PAC
members all expenses are to be pre-approved
by the Redevelopment Agency.

Proposed Fiscal Year 2001-02 Bakersfield
Redevelopment Agency Budget.
Economic Development Director Kunz gave a
slide presentation of the proposed budget.
Motion by Arriola, seconded by Davenport to
authorize the transmittal of the Fiscal Year
2001-02 Redevelopment Agency budget to the
City Council for approval.
Canyon Hills Senior Housing:
Resolution regarding the use of housing
set Aside Monies outside the Downtown
Redevelopment Project Area.
Owner Participation Agreement with
Canyon Hills Senior Housing, Inc. to
provide assistance for the Canyon Hills
Senior Housing Project.
Development Associate Kade Duey gave an
overview of the project and stated corrections
have been made to Exhibit K, deleting reference
to the County and page b.5 reference to
declaration of restrictions has been changed from
55 years to 20 years throughout the document.

c. Motion by Raphael, seconded by Schroeder,
to adopt the resolution.
Motion by Arriola, seconded by Anthony, to
approve the agreement.
