A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD DECLARING ITS SUPPORT FOR THE
FORMATION OF THE PROPOSED SOUTHEAST
BAKERSFIELD AIRPORT DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, an election is scheduled for February 14, 1984,
within such district to decide whether the proposed Southeast
Bakersfield Airport District should be formed; and
WHEREAS, the formation and
is expected to promote the upgrading
in the City and to create additional
operation of such District
of a general aviation facility
economic development and
jobs within the vicinity of the District; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the
City of Bakersfield that this City council supports and endorses
formation of the Southeast Bakersfield Airport District.

passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield
