A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD AMENDING THE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT
BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1983-84.
WHEREAS, the City Council previously adopted Resolution
No. 98-83 adopting the Capital Improvement Budget for fiscal year
1983-84; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has expressed its desire to
establish a revolving loan account for Economic Development
assistance to be used for Capital Improvement loans within the
City's development and transportation program.
WHEREAS, Revenue Sharing funds in the amount of $600,000
are now available for the aforementioned program; and
WHEREAS, the City Council believes the Capital Improve-
ment Budget should be modified to reflect the aforementioned
program.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the
City of Bakersfield as follows:
1. The Capital Improvement Budget for fiscal year
1983-84 as adopted by Resolution No. 98-83 is hereby amended to
include the establishing of a revolving loan amount of $600,000
for Economic Development assistance to be used for Capital Improve-
ment loans.
2. That the said Capital Improvement Budget as amended
shall be the Capital Improvement Budget for the City of Bakersfield,
California, for fiscal year 1983-84 as made by this Council under
the requirements of Section 53 of the Charter of said City.
3. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this resolution, and henceforth and hereafter the same shall
be in full force and effect.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was
passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield
regular meeting thereof held on the 25th day of April, 1984,
