A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD APPROVING AND ADOPTING THE
OPERATING AND CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT BUDGETS
FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1984-85.
WHEREAS, in accordance with the Charter of the City of
Bakersfield and applicable ordinances, the City Manager and the
Assistant City Manager-Finance of the City of Bakersfield have
heretofore presented to the City Council of said City proposed
Operating and Capital Improvement Budgets for the fiscal year
1984-85; and
WHEREAS, the City Council did modify, correct, amend
and change said proposed budgets for the fiscal year 1984-85; and
WHEREAS, public hearings were held
Chambers of the City of Bakersfield on these
fiscal year 1984-85; and
WHEREAS, said City Council
proposed budgets as so submitted and
hearing, with reference thereto, and

amendments thereto which said City Council up to this time desires
to make therein; and
WHEREAS, the originals of said proposed budgets have
now been revised so as to reflect each and all of the amendments,
changes and modifications which the said City Council up to the
time of the adoption of this resolution believes should be made
in said proposed budgets as so submitted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by
City of Bakersfield as follows:
1. That the originals of
Capital Improvement Budgets for the
the Council of the
the proposed Operating and
City of Bakersfield, California,
for the fiscal year 1984-85 are so submitted, amended, modified
and corrected and which, as so submitted, amended, modified and
corrected are now before this Council, be placed on file in the
office of the City Clerk of the City of Bakersfield, California,
open
and are hereby referred
incorporated herein and
2. That said
to public inspection, and that as so on file the same be
to and by this reference expressly
made a part hereof.
City Council of the City of Bakersfield
does hereby approve and adopt the proposed Operating and Capital
Improvement Budgets of the City of Bakersfield, California, for
the fiscal year 1984-85 as so amended, modified and corrected.
3. That the said budgets for said fiscal year 1984-85
so submitted, amended, modified, corrected and filed shall be
the budgets for the City of Bakersfield, California, for said
fiscal year 1984-85 as contemplated to be made by this Council
under the requirements of Section 53 of the Charter of said City.
4. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this resolution, and henceforth and hereafter the same shall
be in full force and effect.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was
passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a
regular meeting thereof held on the 2~th day of July , 19 8___~
