AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BAKERSFIELD AMENDING
SECTION 3.12.020 OF THE BAKERSFIELD
MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO
PRESENTATION OF CLAIMS AGAINST THE
CITY.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield as follows:
SECTION 1.
Section 3.12.020 of the Bakersfield Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as
follows:
3.12.020 Presentation of claim.
Such claim shall be presented to the city council by:
A. Delivering it to the city clerk of the city at 1600 Truxtun Avenue; or
B. Mailing it to such clerk or to the city council at City Hall North, 1600 Truxtun
Avenue, Bakersfield, California 93301.
SECTION 2.
This Ordinance shall be posted in accordance with the provisions of the
Bakersfield Municipal Code and shall become effective thirty (30) days from and after
the date of its passage.
