A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF BAKERSFIELD AMENDING THE BOUNDARIES
OF THE FAIRHAVEN WATER SERVICE AREA.
BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield
as follows:
Pursuant to the authority of Section 14.06.010 of the
Bakersfield Municipal Code, the boundaries of the Fairhaven Water
Service Area as established by Resolution No. ~-8~ are hereby
amended to include the real property so identified on the map
attached hereto and marked Exhibit "A", which real property is
described in the legal description attached hereto and marked
Exhibit "B".

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was
passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a
regular meeting thereof held on the 29th day of August ,
1984, by the following vote:

A parcel of land situated in the County of Kern, State of California,
being a portion of Section 14, Township 29 South, Range 27 East M.D.B & M.,
more particularly described as follows:
Commencing at the center of said Section 14; thence South 00°21'15TM West
a distance of 26.30 feet to a point on the westerly right of way line of
State Route V1-Ker-99, said point also being a point on the easterly
boundary line of the Fairhaven Water District; thence South 23°25'31"
East a distance of 360.75 Feet; thence South 37°18'26" East a distance
of 183.65 feet to a point on a nontangent curve concave to the northeast
which bears South 44°42'45" West a radial distance of 1,085 feet from the
center of said curve; thence southerly along the last named curve through
a central angle of 18°00'49" an arc distance of 341.12 feet to the Point
of Beginning for this description;
Thence (l) Departing said District Boundary southeasterly along a direct
line to the northeast corner of the land described in the deed to the
State of California, recorded October 1, 1964, in Book 3771, page 374,
in the OFfice of the Kern County Recorder;
Thence (2) South 80°57'12" East a distance of 463.98 Feet;
Thence (3j South 56°05'11" East a distance of 71~99 feet;
~ence (4) South 14°39'38" East a distance of 75~31 feet;
Thence (5) Southerly along a direct line to the northerly terminus of
Course No. 2 of Parcel 1 of that certain Grant Deed from R. S. Haberkern
to Reed Properties recorded October 9, ]979, in Official Records Book
5235 at page 137 in the OFFice of the Kern County Recorder;
Thence (~) South 04°51'31" West a distance of 48.61 Feet;
Thence (7) South 49~51'15TM West a distance of 195.44 feet;
Thence (8) South 52°41'03" West a distance of 46.80 feet;
Thence (9) North 43°37'02" West a distance of 218.37 feet to a point
on a nontangent curve concave to the southeast which bears North
79°42'(14TM West a radial distance of 1115 Feet from the center of
said curve;
Thence (10) Southerly along the last named curve through a central
12°27'20" an arc length of 25 feet;
Thence (11) South 0?09'24" East a distance of 44.62 feet;
Thence (12) North 89°44'32" West a distance of 233.95 feet more or less
to a point on the westerly right of way line of State Route V1-Ker-99,
also being a poJnt on the easterly boundary of the Fairhaven Water
District;
Thence (13) Northerly along the last named District Boundary to the
Point of Beginning.
