A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF BAKERSFIELD ESTABLISHING THE BOUNDARIES
OF THE FAIRHAVEN WATER SERVICE AREA.
BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield
as follows:
Pursuant to the authority of Section 14.06.010 of the
Bakersfield Municipal Code, the boundaries of the Fairhaven Water
Service Area are hereby established as those depicted on the map
attached hereto and marked Exhibit "A", which boundaries include
the real property described in the legal description attached
hereto and marked Exhibit "B".

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was
passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at
regular meeting thereof held on the 29th day of August ,
1984, by the following vote:

A parcel of land situated in the incorporated and unincorporated area
of the Count>' of Kern, State of California, being a portion of Section
14, 1S, 22, 23, 26 and 2-, Township 29 South, Range 27 East, M.D.B. & M.,
more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the center of saxd Section 15;
~ence (1) [asterly alor;g the north line of the south half of said
Section 1S and the north line of the south half of said Section 14 to
a point on the nortnerlx right of way line of the Atchison, Topeka and
Santa Fe Railroad;
~ence :2) Northeasterly along the last named railroad right of way to
a poin~ on the we:~terly r~ght of way line of State Route VI-KER-99.
Thence r3) Southerl? along the last named westerly right of ~ay line to
a point on the northerly right of ~ay line of State Route VI-KER-S8
fRosedate Highway!.
Thence (4) Easterly along the last named northerly right of way line
and the northerly right of way line of State Route VI-KER-178 (24th
Streetl to a point on the south levee of the [ern River;
Thence (5) Southwesterly along the last named south levee to a point
on the northerly right of ~ay line of the Atchison, Topeka and Santa
Fe Railroad;
Thence (6) ~esterly along the last named northerly right of way line
to a point on the west tine of the east half of said Section 27;
Thence /7) Northerly along the last named west line and the west line
of the east half of said Section 22, and the ~est line of the east
half of said Section iS to the Point of Beginning.
