A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD DECLARING THE PARK STOCKDALE
LIGHTING DISTRICT DISSOLVED.
WHEREAS, in December, 1963, by Resolution No. 63-489,
the Board of Supervisors of the County of Kern established the
Park Stockdale Lighting District of the County of Kern; and
WHEREAS, on May 19, 1983, the entire territory of the
aforesaid District was included within the City of Bakersfield
by completion of annexation proceedings and funds on deposit with
the County of Kern for said District were transferred to the City
of Bakersfield; and
WHEREAS, the functions of said District have been
assumed by the City of Bakersfield; and
WHEREAS, Section 19270 of the California Streets and
Highways Code provides for dissolution of such district by adoption
by the legislative body of the city involved of a resolution
declaring such district dissolved.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the
City of Bakersfield as follows:

of Kern is hereby declared dissolved.
