A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD DIRECTING FINANCE OPERATIONS
MANAGER TO TRANSFER TO THE GENERAL FUND OF
THE CITY THE BALANCE OF FUNDS CARRIED FOR
PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT 801-A.
WHEREAS, pursuant to the Municipal Improvement Act of
1913, the Council of the City of Bakersfield established City
of Bakersfield Public Improvement District 801-A (hereinafter,
"P.I.D. 801-A") pursuant to Resolution of Intention No. 801-A,
adopted November 25, 1968; and
WHEREAS, bonds were issued on P.I.D. 801-A on March 14,
1969, and the last installment upon said bonds was January 2, 1979;
and
WHEREAS, Section 10427.1 of the California Streets
and Highways Code (the "Municipal Improvement Act of 1913")
specifies that any portion of any surplus which has not been
paid to or claimed by persons entitled to such surplus within
four (4) years from the due date of the last installment upon
said bonds, and any interest earned thereon, shall be transferred
to the general fund of the City; and
WHEREAS, no claim for any portion of such surplus has
been made.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Finance
Operations Manager is hereby directed to transfer to the City's
general fund all surplus funds for PoI.D. 801-A.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was
passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a
regular meeting thereof held on the 7th day of December, 1983, by
