A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD ADOPTING REPORT RELATIVE TO
FEDERAL CLEAN WATER ACT GRANT.
WHEREAS, the California Water Resources Control Board
made available, by Contract 81-10 W.B. with the City of Bakersfield,
a Federal Environmental Protection Agency Project 208 Planning
Grant for the study of effects on groundwater quality of increas-
ing recharge activity at the City's 2800 acre recharge site.
WHEREAS, the City of Bakersfield has performed or
caused to be performed completion of the contract in the form of
a final written report to the California Water Resources Control
Board.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the
City of Bakersfield that report titled, "GROUNDWATER QUALITY
IMPROVEMENT PROJECT, 2800 Acre Recharge Facility, City of
Bakersfield, California, July 1983", has been completed by the
City and meets requirements of the contract with the California
Water Resources Control Board and hereby adopts said report.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was
passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a
regular meeting thereof held on the 30th day of November, 1983,
by the following vote:
