A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD RECOGNIZING THE SOUTHEAST ENTER-
PRISE ZONE.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Bakersfield
recognizes the probability of the passage of legislation implement-
ing enterprise zones; and
WHEREAS, there exists in the City of Bakersfield an area
that would be suited to enterprise zone implementation; and
WHEREAS, such qualifying area is located in the southeast
~,ortion of the City of Bakersfield, and
WHEREAS, local residents and business people have volun-
tarily organized themselves into an organization called the
S~outheast Enterprise Zone (SEEZ) capable of meeting the probable
6uidelines for the formation and governing of an enterprise zone,
and
WHEREAS, the City desires
