A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD OPPOSING SENATE BILL NO. 778
(MANDATORY BINDING ARBITRATION).
WHEREAS, Senate Bill No. 778 would diminish the ability
of cities to control economic terms and .conditions of employment
of police officers and firefighters; and
WHEREAS, Senate Bill No. 778 does not make any sub-
stantial changes to existing law regarding strikes by police
officers and firefighters;
WHEREAS, Senate
