RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD APPROVING AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO THE
LEASE AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Bakersfield (the
"City") and the City of Bakersfield Redevelopment Agency (the
"Agency") approved a Lease Agreement made as of August 1, 1974
by and between the Agency and the City; and
WHEREAS, the Agency is proceeding to construct a new public
parking facility at 18th and Eye Streets in the City; and
WHEREAS, the Agency and the City find and determine that it
is in the best interest of the City and Agency that the 18th and
Eye Streets public parking facility be substituted for the
public parking facility constructed pursuant to the Lease
Agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Bakersfield
DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER that Amendment No. 1
to the Lease Agreement attached hereto as Exhibit "A" is hereby
approved and that the Mayor and the City Clerk are authorized
to execute said Amendment No. 1, and the City Clerk is to affix
the seal of the City thereto.
