REGULAR MEETING
1. ROLL CALL
Present: Agency Members Pickett, Koman, Knapp, Prince,
Takii, Ordiz (4:05), Bentley
2. PUBLIC STATEMENTS
3. CONSENT CALENDAR
a. Minutes of the March 31, 2009 special meeting.
b. Approval of department payments from March 20, 2009
to April 2, 2009 in the amount of 2,554,584.65.
C. Authorize Payment of $147,500 Old Town Kern
Redevelopment Project Area Operating budget within the
Old Town Kern Redevelopment Project Area Fund for Mill
Creek Area Project infrastructure, utilities and under-
grounding.
Motion by Takii, seconded by Pickett, to approve
Consent Calendar items 3.a. through 3.c.
4. PUBLIC HEARINGS
NONE
5. REPORTS
a. Update status of Baker Street Mixed Use Project.
b. Update Status of Mill Creek Project.
ED/CD Director Donna Kunz gave staff report for both projects.
Agency Member Koman asked questions about the Federal Court
r House.

City Manager Alan Tandy gave an update on the Court House.

Agency Member Prince asked the status of the Ceinma and the
Commercial that is to go into that plaza.
ED/CD Director Donna Kunz responded, Theater to open
sometime In the fall.
Chairperson Bentley asked if there was a date for a grand opening
of Central Park.
ED/CD Director Donna Kunz stated it was set for May 29, 2009.
6. DEFERRED BUSINESS

7. NEW BUSINESS
ACTION TAKEN
a. Amendment No. 1 to Agreement No. BRDA07-007 with BRDA07-007(1)
Overland, Pacific & Cutler, Inc. for $13,675 to provide
additional relocation services for the South Mill Creek
Mixed Creek Mixed-Use Project.
Staff report given by ED/CD Director Donna Kunz in regards to
Property.
Agency Knapp, Koman and Takii asked questions.
ED/CD Director Donna Kunz responded.
City Manager Alan Tandy gave additional comments.
Motion by Prince, seconded by Takii for approval APPROVED
8. AGENCY STATEMENTS
Agency Member Prince questioned a payment in regards to the
Rabobank Arena.
City Manager Alan Tandy responded that the payment was for a
feasibility study of a full service restaurant.
Agency member Takii, thanked staff for Maps.
Chairperson Bentley asked if Mexicali would do any remodel to
reflect the upgrade of the area.
ED/CD Donna Kunz responded that Mexicali will be doing a
remodel.
Agency Member Ordiz asked about other buildings in the area of
the Mill Creek project.
City Manager Alan Tandy and ED/CD Director responded.
