AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER
2.92.090(C)(8) OF THE BAKERSFIELD
MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO FIRE
DEPARTMENT DISABILITY AND
RETIREMENT BOARD MEETINGS --
POWERS.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield as follows:
SECTION 1.
Section 2.92.090(C)(8) of the Bakersfield Municipal Code is hereby amended to
read as follows:
2.92.090 Disability and retirement board meetings -- powers.
8. Keep in convenient form such data as shall be necessary for the actuarial
valuation of the retirement system. Actuarial valuations shall be conducted in accordance
with the minimum requirements of California Government Code section 7504 and
Statement No. 25 of the Governmental Accounting Standards Board. Upon the basis of
such valuation and actuarial report, the board shall:
SECTION 2.
This Ordinance shall be posted in accordance with the provisions of the Bakersfield
Municipal Code and shall become effective thirty (30) days from and after the date of its
passage.
