ROLL CALL Present: Board Members Underwood, Lee and Zarogoza Absent: None 2. PUBLIC STATEMENTS No speaker cards were presented. 3. CONSENT CALENDAR A. Consent Calendar Non-Public Hearing Items: 1. Minutes of the regular meeting held August 11, 2009. APPROVED Motion by Zaragoza to approve non-public hearing items. B. Public Hearing Items: File No. 09-0315 CONTINUED 1. – Approval to continue to October 13, 2009 a conditional use permit to operate a concrete and asphalt recycling facility on an 11.24-acre site in an M-3 (Heavy Industrial) zone district located at 75 E. White Lane. File No. 09-0613RES 09-18 2. – Approval of a zoning modification to construct a six-foot high fence in the front yard setback in an R- 1 (One-Family Dwelling) zone district located at 7115 Santana Sun Drive. File No. 09-0618REMOVED 3. – Approval of a conditional use permit to FROM operate a restaurant with on-site alcohol sales in a C-1 CONSENT (Neighborhood Commercial) zone district located at 1601 Panama Lane. File No. 09-0654 RES 09-21 5. – Approval of a zoning modification to reduce the required setbacks along H Street and Eye Street to 6 feet and 2 feet, respectively, for the reconstruction/expansion of a parking lot in C-O (Professional and Administrative Office) and R-3 (Multiple-Family Dwelling) zone districts located at 900 H Street. APPROVED Motion by Underwood to continue public hearing item 3.B.1 to October 13, 2009, and to approve public hearing items 3.B.2 and 3.B.5. 4. PUBLIC HEARINGS 1. File No. 09-0618RES 09-19 – Approval of a conditional use permit to operate a restaurant with on-site alcohol sales in a C-1 (Neighborhood Commercial) zone district located at 1601 Panama Lane. Staff report given. Steve Kieke spoke in favor. APPROVED Motion by Zaragoza to approve public hearing item 4.1 2. File No. 09-0628RES 09-20 – Approval of a conditional use permit to operate a restaurant with on-site alcohol sales in a C-1 (Neighborhood Commercial) zone district located at 10606 Hageman Road.
