of Traffic Safety will be presenting the Bakersfield Police Department with two awards; a third place award for the 2008 California Law Enforcement Challenge (CLEC) for a department
size of 251-500 sworn police officers, and a special award in the Underage Alcohol Prevention category for the “A Life Interrupted” program. The CLEC Challenge measures individual law
enforcement agency’s efforts in enforcement and education as it relates to public safety. The award presentation will take place in the police department auditorium.
