Canal administration that an employee, who was checking water levels, located a body floating in the canal east of Brimhall and Coffee Roads. The body is that of a Hispanic man in his
30s. It was apparent he had been in the water an extended period of time. There were no obvious signs of foul play. Investigators are handling the investigation as a suspicious death
pending the Coroner's examination. The man will be identified by the Coroner's Office.
