HomeMy WebLinkAbout2009_12_11_09_Wanted Central Cali Market Burglars BAKERSFIELD POLICE DEPARTMENT PRESS RELEASE William Rector, Chief of Police ________________________________________________________________________ Contact: Detective Mary DeGeare Public Information Officer 661-326-3803 mdegeare@Bakersfieldpd.us For Immediate Release December 11, 2009 The Bakersfield Police Department is requesting the community’s assistance in identifying five male suspects wanted for burglarizing the Central Cali Market, 801 East California Avenue on 11/29/09 at about 4:50 a.m. The suspects forced entry to the market and removed merchandise, cash and a safe. The offense was caught on video tape which is available to the media upon request. The suspects depicted in the video are described as follows: Black male adult, short black hair, light complexioned wearing a black jacket with "New York" on the back, a New York Yankees emblem on the sleeve and a "NY" emblem on the chest, dark pants, white gloves and cloth covering the lower portion of his face. Black male adult, bald, light complexioned, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with a white t-shirt underneath, dark pants, and black gloves. Black male adult, short black hair, light complexioned, wearing a black Jacket, black pants, black gloves and a black cloth covering lower portion of his face. Unknown race male wearing a black jacket with hood pulled over his head, dark pants, and black gloves. Unknown race male wearing a black jacket with hood pulled over his head, dark pants, and black gloves.
