to the arrest and the filing of a complaint against the suspect(s) involved in the murder of Keyshawn Breye Black. On Sunday, November 30, 2008, at 12:05 a.m., Keyshawn Breye Black was
driving his vehicle westbound in the 400 block of California Avenue with his passenger. Unknown suspect(s) drove along the driver side of Black's vehicle and fired several shots, striking
Black and his vehicle. The suspect(s) fled westbound on California Avenue. Black was transported to the hospital and later died from his injuries. The Bakersfield Police Department is
seeking information related to this crime. Anyone with information regarding this murder is asked to call the Bakersfield Police even if they believe the information is unimportant or
was perhaps already provided. Information can be provided through the non emergency line at (661) 327-7111 or directly to the investigator, Detective Martin Heredia at (661) 326-3873.
