RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE SALE OF
SURPLUS PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT TO KIDS AROUND THE
WORLD, A NON PROFIT ORGANIZATION
FOR ONE DOLLAR ($1.00)
RECITALS
WHEREAS, the City of Bakersfield possesses surplus playground equipment
which is no longer serviceable for the City of Bakersfield; and
WHEREAS, Kids Around the World, Incorporated, a nonprofit organization,
desires to buy the surplus playground equipment for consideration of one dollar:
and
WHEREAS, in accordance with Bakersfield Municipal Code section 3.20.120(F)
the City Council must confirm and approve the sale of any surplus equipment to a
nonprofit organization;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Bakersfield as
follows:
1. The above recitals are true and correct and are incorporated herein
by reference.
2. The City Council authorizes the Finance Director to sell the above-
referenced surplus playground equipment to Kids Around the World,
Incorporated for the total amount of $1.00.

HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted by
the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular meeting thereof held on
