3. CONSENT CALENDAR
a. Minutes of the February 8, 2010 regular meeting.
b. Approval of department payments from January 29,
2010 to February 25, 2010 in the amount of
$3,630,924,19.
Motion by Koman, seconded by Pickett, to approve Consent APPROVED
Calendar items 3a. and 3.b. AB TAKII
4. PUBLIC HEARINGS
None
5. REPORTS
a. Update Status of Baker Street Mixed Use Project.
b. Update Status of Mill Creek Project.
ED/CD Director Donna Kunz gave an overview on both
Projects,

7. NEW BUSINESS ACTION TAKEN
a. South Mill Creek Affordable Apartments
1. Amendment No.1 to Agreement No. 08-160/RA08-016 RA08-016(1)
with the City of Bakersfield for use of federal HOME
Investment Partnership Funds ($1,000,000 for an
amount not to exceed $3,000,000) for an affordable
housing project located within South Mill Creek with
Chelsea Investment Corporation.
Motion by Prince, seconded by Pickett, to approve APPROVED
amendment 7.a.1. AB TAKII
2. Amendment No, 1 to Agreement No. RA08-015 with RA08-015(1)
Chelsea Investment Corporation for the use of $3
million in federal HOME Investment Partnership Funds
to construct 70 affordable multi-family units at 1401
"S" Street.
Motion by Prince, seconded by Pickett, to approve APPROVED
AB TAKII
amendment 7.a.2.
8. AGENCY STATEMENTS
Chair Bentley commented that he remember a talk about a
possible Greyhound Bus Station Rehab and could that be in
the near future.
City Manager Tandy and ED/CD Director Kunz responded to
the comment.
Agency Member Koman, commented that at the last
meeting Agency Member Takii asked about changing the
meeting date. ED/CD Asst. Director Bamhard commented
that it was nearly impossible due to Council Meetings and
other Boards and Commissions. ED/CD Asst. Director Bamhard
mentioned that Agency Member Takii was notified with
results for the search.
