HomeMy WebLinkAboutROI NO 1072 RESOLUTION OF INTENTION NO. 1072 A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO ORDER THE VACATION OF THE ALLEY ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF BRUNDAGE LANE EXTENDING WEST FROM OLIVE STREET, IN THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD. WHEREAS, J. 0. Barber submitted a request for vacation of the alley on the south side of Brundage Lane extending west from Olive Street; and WHEREAS, at its meeting on February 15, 1990, the request for vacation was duly heard and considered by the Planning Commission and was found to be consistent with the Bakersfield Metropolitan Area General Plan. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield as follows: 1. That it intends to order the vacation of the alley of the alley on the south side of Brundage Lane extending west from Olive Street, in the City of Bakersfield, County of Kern, State of California, more particularly described in Exhibit "A" and depicted in Exhibit "B", attached hereto and made a part hereof. The vacation shall proceed under the provisions of Chapter 3 of Part 3 of Division 9 of the California Streets and Highways Code ("the Public Streets, Highways, and Service Easements Vacation Law"). 2. That the hour of 7:00 P.M. on WEDNESDAY, APRIL 18, 1990, in the Council Chambers in the City Hall, 1501 Truxtun Avenue, Bakersfield, California, be and the same is hereby fixed as the time and place when and where all persons interested in or objecting to the proposed vacation may appear before the City Council and be heard. 3. That the City Clerk shall cause notice of the date, hour and place of hearing on this resolution to be published for two successive weeks prior thereto in the Bakersfield Californian and the Superintendent of Streets of the City of Bakersfield, California, shall cause "Notice of Vacation" to be posted as required by Section 8323 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California. ,~F ®AKE9s m r c, ORIGINAL 4.
