the murder of Evodio Santiz-Conde 33 in the 600 block of East 19th Street. On 05/15/10, at 11:57 p.m., officers of the Bakersfield Police Department responded to a report of a subject
down in the 600 block of East 19th Street where they located Evodio Santiz-Conde in the roadway suffering from a gunshot wound to his torso. Santiz-Conde was transported to Kern Medical
Center where he later died. During the investigation witnesses indicated a female driving a white van may have witnessed the homicide. Investigators are urging this particular woman
and/or anyone with information regarding this case to call Detective Findley at 326-3919 or the Secret Witness line at 322-4040. Evodio Santiz-Conde The Secret Witness phone line operates
24 hours a day. Secrecy is guaranteed to those who call. Callers will be asked to select a code name and code number when they provide information to Secret Witness. Should additional
contact with the caller be necessary, the code name will be published along with a request for the original caller to establish contact. Once contact is made, the caller will be asked
to provide their original code number for verification purposes. The same steps will be taken to pay a reward to the caller. Secret Witness is operated under the direction of an independent,
voluntary board of directors representing civic organizations, law enforcement agencies, media outlets, and corporate sponsors.
