The first robbery took place at about 1:15 p.m., at J’s Market, 1605 South H Street. The suspect entered and displayed a firearm but fled when the alarm was activated. This suspect was described as a Black male 20’s, 5’11”-6’0” tall, 230-250 lbs, having short hair and a light moustache/goatee, wearing white plain t-shirt, baggie shorts and white and black striped high-top tennis shoes. The second robbery took place at 2:54 p.m., at Chester Discount Clothing, 507 Chester Avenue wherein the suspect attempted to steal clothes but was locked in by the employees to prevent the theft, however, the suspect displayed a handgun and demanded exit. This suspect in this robbery was described as a Black male 20’s, 5’11”-6’0” tall, 230-250 lbs, having short hair and a light moustache/goatee, wearing red plain t-shirt over a white t-shirt, light blue baggie shorts and white and black striped high-top tennis shoes.
