NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The Board of Zoning Adjustment of the City of Bakersfield will hold a public hearing at
TUESDAY, July 13, 2010
3:00 p.m., , in Conference Room A of City Hall North, 1600 Truxtun
Avenue, Bakersfield, CA, to consider the following:
Paul Dhanens Architect, Inc. is proposing a zoning modification to reduce the
required rear yard setback from 20 feet to 5 feet to allow for an 11,000 square
foot addition to an office building abutting residentially zoned canal property in a
C-O (Administrative and Professional Office) zone district located at 1600 Mill
Rock Way. Exempt from environmental review. (File #10-0285; Ward 5, staff

All written comments must be received by the Bakersfield Planning Department on or
before the public hearing date/time indicated above (location: 1715 Chester Avenue,
Bakersfield, CA; phone: 661/326-3733; email: devpln@bakersfieldcity.us. You may review
and/or obtain copies of all public documents at the same location. If you challenge the action
taken on a specific project in court, you may be limited to addressing only those issues raised
at the public hearing or in written correspondence delivered to the City of Bakersfield.
