3. CONSENT CALENDAR
a. Minutes of the May 10, 2010 regular meeting.
b. Approval of department payments from April 30,
2010 to June 29, 2010 in the amount of $3,998,267.52.
Motion by Prince, seconded by Koman, to approve Consent APPROVED
Calendar items 3.a. and 3.b. AB PICKETT
4. PUBLIC HEARINGS
a. Public Hearing to consider the following;
RA007-10
1. Resolution approving the Sale of real property
located at 226 E. 6m Street by the Bakersfield
Redevelopment Agency for $41,500.00 to
Habitat for Humanity, Golden Empire in
accordance with Health and Safety Code
Section 33013(b) for a small housing project
within the Southeast Bakersfield
Redevelopment Project Area.
2. Agreement with Habitat for Humanity, Golden RA 10-007
Golden Empire for the purchase of 226 E. 6t'
Street in the amount of $41,500.00.
Hearing opened at 4:08p.m
Staff report given by ED/CD Director Donna Kunz.
Mr. Dennis Wallace, Executive Director of Habitat for
Humanity, spoke in favor of the sale.

4. PUBLIC HEARINGS Cont. ACTION TAKEN
Motion by Prince, seconded by Knapp to approve the APPROVED
Resolution and Agreement.
5. REPORTS
a. Update status of Baker Street Mixed Use Project.
b. Update status of Mill Creek Project.
ED/CD Director Donna Kunz gave an overview on both
Projects.
6. DEFERRED BUSINESS

7. NEW BUSINESS

8. AGENCY STATEMENTS
Agency Member Prince asked the exact location for the
future hotel. ED/CD Director Kunz responded, north of 13th
Street, south of the railroad tracks, west side of the canal.
Agency Member Koman asked the status of the Transmission
Shop and Warehouse that was recently acquired. ED/CD
Director Kunz responded. Agency Member Koman
commented that the Mill Creek Project is looking great and
thanked staff on a great job.
