Commissioner Tkac moved, seconded by Commissioner Strong APPROVED
to approve Consent Calendar Public Hearing with item E.2a and
b being removed for separate consideration, under public HADDOCK
hearings. ABSENT

Removed from consent calendar (Item E.3a and b).
Hearing opened. Leonard McKender had questions
regarding streets/curbing and speed bumps. Herb Taylor,
spoke in support of the project and requested park
amenities similar to what currently exists in the other .
parks.
Roger McIntosh and Scott Thayer representing the
applicant responded to the questions that the
development will be consistent with the existing Brighton
Park neighborhood. Mr. Thayer stated he held 2
neighborhood meetings at the community building to
discuss this project with residents. Hearing closed.
Commissioner Tkac moved to approve Items F3a and b, HADDOCK
seconded by Commissioner Tragish. ABSENT

G. COMMUNICATIONS
Planning Director Jim Eggert welcomed Chair Lomas. He also
noted to the Commissioners that they can leave their binders in
the chambers after meetings for staff to pick up.
H. COMMISSION COMMENTS
Commissioners Tragish, Tkac and Stanley spoke of
Commissioner McGinnis's passing and appreciated his years of
service to the community
I. ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business, Chair Stanley adjourned the
meeting at 6:10 p.m.
