of a hit and run involving a vehicle versus a child. Officers contacted the mother of the child, Aimee Archer 28, who reported her four year old daughter was hit by a car on Blanche
Street and the vehicle fled the scene. Further investigation revealed Archer was actually responsible for running over the child with her vehicle. Archer indicated she accidentally ran
over the child on Blanche Street then drove home with the child and called 911 and falsely reported the incident as a hit and run. The child is currently at a local hospital. Archer
was arrested for felony child endangerment and false report of an emergency.
