BAKERSFIELD POLICE DEPARTMENT PRESS RELEASE Greg Williamson, Chief of Police ________________________________________________________________________ Contact: Sergeant Mary DeGeare Public
Information Officer 661-326-3803 mdegeare@Bakersfieldpd.us FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE September 27, 2010 On 9/27/10, a 17 year old female juvenile reported that at about 10:30 a.m., she was
walking near Rodman and East 3rd Streets to catch a GET bus to take her to Bakersfield College where she attends school; when a Hispanic male, 16-18 years old, 5'6" tall, slim build
and short dark brown hair; wearing blue denim shorts and a light grey or white shirt, approached her and made lewd comments to her. When she tried to ignore him, the suspect grabbed
her and forced her into the west alley 400 block Villa Street and pinned her against a garage door. The suspect then kissed her neck and reached under her clothing attempting to fondle
her breasts. The victim struggled and made so much noise that the suspect took her IPod, released her and fled northbound in the alley. Attached is a computer generated composite of
the suspect. Anyone with information related to the identity of this suspect is encouraged to call Detective Joel Luera at 326-3921.
