AMENDMENT NO.1
A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF BAKERSFIELD, AMENDING THE PAMANA
AND UNION PLANNED SEWER AREA FEE
SCHEDULE AND BOUNDARY. (WARD 1)
THIS AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO RESOLUTION 083-07 is made on
NOV 1 7 2010 , by the City of Bakersfield, a charter city and a municipal
corporation (referred to herein as "CITY") adopting the amended boundary and
fee schedule for the Panama and Union Planned Sewer Area.
RECITALS
WHEREAS, the City Council by Resolution of Intention No. 1677,
adopted November 3, 2010, in the Council chambers in the City Hall, 1501
Truxtun Avenue, Bakersfield, California, identified the amended fee schedule
and boundary of the Panama and Union Planned Sewer Area and new, and,
WHEREAS, new commercial development in the area has brought a
need to amend the Panama and Union Planned Sewer Area fee schedule and
boundary, and;
WHEREAS, the proposed amended Planned Sewer Area fees set
forth in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated by reference, do not
exceed the reasonable estimated cost based to provide sewer services;
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the amended fee schedule
and boundary for the planned sewer area represents current needs and costs.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of
Bakersfield as follows:
1. The foregoing recitals are true and correct and incorporated herein by
reference.
2. The amended Panama and Union Planned Sewer Area has been
identified as necessary for the removal of surface and storm waters from
the local and neighborhood drainage areas.
3. The Council hereby finds the amended fee schedule attached hereto as
"Exhibit A," as a replacement to the original fee schedule for the Panama
and Union Planned Sewer Area,

4. The Council hereby finds the amended boundary attached hereto as
"Exhibit B," as a replacement to the original boundary for the Panama
and Union Planned Sewer Area.
5. The amended fee schedule and boundary for the Panama and Union
Planned Sewer Area is hereby adopted.
