Release February 11, 2010 The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the community’s assistance in identifying a suspect wanted for theft. On 1/22/11, the suspect depicted in the
attached video surveillance photos removed the victim’s purse from her shopping cart while she was distracted. The suspect appears to be a Caucasian or Hispanic female teen, 5’6”-5’7”
tall with dark hair in a pony tail, wearing a grey sweatshirt with “Bakersfield” in blue letters on the front. Anyone with information regarding the identity of this suspect is encouraged
to call Detective Coronado at 326-3553.
