Release February 15, 2011 The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the community’s assistance in identifying a suspect wanted for theft from Radio Shack, 5041 Gosford Road. On
1/24/11, the suspect depicted in the attached video surveillance photos forced entry to a display case inside the store and removed a black Samsung Galaxy phone then concealed it in
his hooded sweatshirt and left without paying. He is described as a Caucasian male in his twenties, 6’0” tall, 160 pounds having a shaved head and horns tattooed on his scalp. He was
wearing a red baseball cap, black hooded sweatshirt and tan pants. The suspect was accompanied by two adults and a child and the four left together in a green Ford Astro van, California
license 6JDF266 which is the incorrect plate for the vehicle. The same suspect attempted to steal another phone on 1/22/11, but was observed by an employee and told to leave. Anyone
with information regarding the identity of this suspect, or the two adults and child he was with during the offense is urged to call Detective Mike Coronado at 326-3553.
