Release February 16, 2010 On 02/16/11, at about 8:55 a.m., the Chase Bank, 4040 California Avenue was robbed by a Black male 40’s, 5’6” to 5’8” tall, medium build with a short black
with graying hair, light colored button up, long sleeve checkered shirt and jeans. The suspect, who was possibly armed with a handgun, entered the bank and demanded money. The suspect
then exited the bank and ran south bound across California Avenue toward the MiMis Restaurant parking lot. Harris Elementary School was placed on lock down as a precaution only until
about 9:45 a.m. due to its proximity to the robbery and the direction the suspect ran initially. Attached are video surveillance photographs of the suspect inside the bank. Anyone with
information regarding the identity of this suspect is encouraged to call Detective Martin Heredia at at 326-3501.
