Release February 17, 2011 The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the community’s assistance in identifying two suspects wanted for a shoplift turned robbery at Kohl’s on Gosford
Road. On 1/28/11, the two suspects depicted in the attached video surveillance photos entered the store, concealed merchandise in a child stroller and exited the store without paying
for it. When confronted in the parking lot by a loss prevention agent, one of the suspects brandished the pliers she used to remove the security tags from the merchandise and threatened
the agent with the pliers. Both suspects entered a blue Suzuki four door compact, California License 6FIG117. The suspects are described as a Hispanic female in her twenties, 5’5” tall,
145 pounds with dark hair in a pony tail and a Hispanic female in her twenties, 5’3” tall 130 pounds with reddish brown hair. Anyone with information regarding the identity of this suspect
is encouraged to call Detective Mike Coronado at 326-3553.
