Release February 17, 2010 The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the community’s assistance in identifying a suspect wanted for theft. On 1/28/11, the victim had his gym bag
stolen from a locked locker at the Body Xchange, 2344 Calloway Drive. The victim’s clothing, equipment, wallet and Blackberry were stolen. Later that evening, the suspect depicted in
the attached video surveillance photograph used the victims’ credit card to attempt to purchase two Dyson vacuums at Target but left when he was asked for identification; however, then
made a large purchase at Best Buy. Both stores are located in the Rosedale Promenade. The suspect appears to be a Caucasian male in his late twenties early thirties, medium height and
build, with dark hair, dressed in business attire. Anyone with information regarding the identity of this suspect is encouraged to call Detective Demestihas at 326-3504.
