Release February 24, 2011 The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the communities’ help in identifying a suspect wanted for theft. On 1/15/11, a male and female entered the Extreme
Wireless Sprint Store, 2701 Ming Avenue and while the female seemingly distracted the salesperson, the male disconnected a Blackberry phone from the display, placed it in his pocket
and left the store without paying for it. The male and female are depicted in the attached video surveillance photos. Anyone with information regarding the identity of either the male
suspect or his female companion is encouraged to call Detective Pete Cavazos at 326-3561.
