Release March 1, 2011 The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the community’s assistance in identifying two suspects wanted for shoplifting/strong armed robbery at Wal-Mart 5075
Gosford Road. On 2/11/11, the two suspects depicted in the attached video surveillance photos were observed to conceal a large amount of baby formula in their purses then exit the store
without paying. When contacted at the exit by a loss prevention agent, one of the suspects displayed a can of pepper spray and threatened to spray him with it. Both suspects fled in
a red Toyota Camry. The suspects are described as two Black females in their late twenties, early thirties having heavy builds. Anyone with information regarding the identity of either
suspect is encouraged to call Detective Mike Coronado at 326-3553.
