NEW BUSINESS
a. Transfer of Redevelopment Agency properties:
1. Resolution approving Cooperation Agreement
of certain Agency-owned properties to the City
In accordance with California Redevelopment
Law.
2. Cooperation Agreement with City for transfer of
certain properties owned by the Bakersfield
Redevelopment Agency to the City and
authorization of the City to act as the Agent of
the Agency in the disposition and
redevelopment of said properties pursuant to
California Redevelopment Law.
Staff report given by ED/CD Director Donna Kunz. Agency
Member Bentley asked questions. ED/CD Director Kunz
responded.
Marvin Dean spoke in regards to Redevelopment properties
and handed out a letter to members and staff.
Mr. Willey Strong, a member of Cain Memorial Church, spoke
in regards to the possibility of the Redevelopment Agency
Resolving, He wanted to know would the current projects
that are near the church property, still be completed.
Executive Director Tandy and ED/CD Director Kunz
responded.

Chairperson Koman responded to questions of Marvin Dean
and ED/CD Director Kunz responded to Member Ordiz
questions.
Motion by Bentley, seconded by Knapp to approve the APPROVED
Resolution. AB PRINCE
Motion by Knapp, seconded by Pickett to approve the APPROVED
Cooperation Agreement. AB PRINCE
Chairperson Koman commented on a Grand Opening for
Santa Fe Apartments and presented the Agency with an
award that was given by the Building developers.
ED/CD Director Kunz gave handouts in regards to the
Legislative Bill for the future of the Redevelopment Agency.
Agency Members Pickett and Knapp made comments in
regards to the Legislative Bill. ED/CD Director Kunz
responded to the comments.
