NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The Board of Zoning Adjustment of the City of Bakersfield will hold a public hearing at
TUESDAY, June 14, 2011
3:00 p.m., , in Conference Room A of City Hall North, 1600
Truxtun Avenue, Bakersfield, CA, to consider the following:
Richard Pratt is proposing a conditional use permit to construct four new
classroom buildings totaling 59,000 square feet for an existing private school
and to expand the maximum enrollment of the school from 174 to 700 students
in an M-2 (General Manufacturing) zone district located at 2300 E. Brundage
Avenue. Exempt from environmental review. (File #11-0210; Ward 1, staff

All written comments must be received by the Bakersfield Planning Department on or
before the public hearing date/time indicated above (location: 1715 Chester Avenue,
Bakersfield, CA; phone: 661/326-3733; email: devpln@bakersfieldcity.us. You may review
and/or obtain copies of all public documents at the same location. If you challenge the action
taken on a specific project in court, you may be limited to addressing only those issues raised
at the public hearing or in written correspondence delivered to the City of Bakersfield.
