RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE SALE OF SURPLUS MOBILE AND
PORTABLE RADIOS TO MCFARLAND POLICE DEPARTMENT,
A GOVERNMENTAL ENTITY
FOR TWO HUNDRED FORTY DOLLARS ($240.00)
RECITALS
WHEREAS, the City of Bakersfield possesses surplus mobile and portable radios
which is no longer serviceable for the City of Bakersfield; and
WHEREAS, the City of McFarland Police Department, a governmental entity,
desires to buy the surplus mobile and portable radios for consideration of two
hundred forty dollars ($240.00): and
WHEREAS, in accordance with Bakersfield Municipal Code section 3.20.120(F)
the City Council must confirm and approve the sale of any surplus equipment to a
governmental entity;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Bakersfield as
follows:
1. The above recitals are true and correct and are incorporated herein
by reference.
2. The City Council authorizes the Finance Director to sell the surplus light
bars and sirens to the City of McFarland Police Department for the
total amount of $240.00.
