NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The Board of Zoning Adjustment of the City of Bakersfield will hold a public hearing at
TUESDAY, August 9, 2011
3:00 p.m., , in Conference Room A of City Hall North, 1600
Truxtun Avenue, Bakersfield, CA, to consider the following:
Bellen Gonzales is proposing a conditional use permit to operate a recycling
center for the purchasing of California Redemption Value (CRV) containers
from the public, consisting of an outdoor receiving and processing area and a
5,500 square foot indoor storage area, in an M-2 (General Manufacturing) zone
district located at 1400 Sumner Street. Exempt from environmental review.

before the public hearing date/time indicated above (location: 1715 Chester Avenue,

taken on a specific project in court, you may be limited to addressing only those issues raised
at the public hearing or in written correspondence delivered to the City of Bakersfield.
