Being a merger of those portions of land shown as Lot 3 and Lot 4 of Block 28 of the Lowell Addition per
Map of the City of Bakersfield recorded January 11, 1892 in Book 1 of Maps, Page 23, together with the
westerly 6.50 feet of the alley adjoining said land on the west, abandoned February 28, 1927, filed in the
office of the Kern County Recorder's office, all being in the Northwest quarter of Section 31, T. 29 S., R.
28 E., M. D. M., in the City of Bakersfield, County of Kern, State of California.
Assessor's Parcel Number. 009.142-08-4 and 099-142-09-2

This Certificate of Merger is being issued and recorded for 1 parcel.
At the request of the property owner and in accordance with Bakersfield Municipal Code Chapter 16.38,
the undersigned City Engineer of the City of Bakersfield, acting herein on behalf of the City of Bakersfield,
states that those portions of land described above are hereby deemed merged in accordance with
provisions of the Subdivision Map Act of the State of California and Chapter 16 of the City of Bakersfield
Municipal Code. The resulting merged parcel is described on the attached Exhibit "A" and shown on the
attached Exhibit "B" and additional information shown on Exhibit "C".
This certificate relates only to issues of compliance or noncompliance with the Subdivision Map Act and
local ordinances enacted pursuant thereto. The parcel described herein may be sold, leased, or financed
without further compliance with the Subdivision Map Act or any local ordinance enacted pursuant thereto.
Development of the parcel may require issuance of a permit or permits, or other grant or grants of
approval.

Being a merger of Lots 3 & 4 of Block 28 of the Lowell Addition Subdivision, filed for
record in the office of the Kern County Recorder in Book 1 of Maps at page 22, and the
westerly 6.50 feet of the Alley adjoining said land,on the west, abandonmed Feburary
28, 1027, being in Section 31, T. 29 S, R. 28 E., M. D. M. In the City of Bakersfield,
County of Kem, State of California, more particularly dscribed as follows:
Parcel A
Commencing at the intersection of the centerlines of K Street and 10th Street of said
subdivision (monument by a 2' Iron pipe in a lamphole), thence East along said 10th
street centerline, 346.50 feet to the centerline intersection of said 10th Street and L
Street of said subdivision; thence South along the centerline of said L Street, 173.25
feet; thence West, 41.25 feet to the northeast comer of said Lot 4 and being the True
Point of Beginning; thence South along the east line of said Lot 4 and said Lot 3 of said
subdivision, 66 feet to the southeast corner of said Lot 3; thence West, 122 along the
south line of said Lot 3 to the southwest corner of said Lot 3, also being the east line of
a 20 foot alley; thence North along the west line of said Lot 3 and lot 4, 66.00 feet to the
northwest comer of said Lot 4; thence East, 122.00 feet to the point of beginning.
