For Immediate Release September 1, 2011
On 04/26/11, at about 2:00 a.m., Bakersfield Police Officers investigated a
robbery/attempt murder of a cab driver in the 200 block of V Street in which two
suspects were subsequently arrested.
Detectives are searching for a third individual, reportedly involved in the incident, who
was with the arrested suspects at a nearby convenience store prior to the offense and is
depicted in the attached video surveillance photo.
He is a dark complexioned Black male in his early 30's, 5'10" tall; 185 lbs., having a thin
build. At the time he was wearing a white beanie, white t shirt, black pants and a white
and black hooded jacket.
Anyone with information regarding the identity this suspect is encouraged to call
Detective Clayton Madden at 326-3873.
