Over the past two days, Bakersfield Police detectives arrested six male
juveniles, ages 15-17, for a series of robberies on Friday August 26th
between 9:30 and 11:30 p.m., during which a stun gun was utilized.
The juvenile suspects, who were occupying a grey sedan, confronted four
juvenile victims at the following separate southwest locations; 9000 Ming
Avenue, 4100 block of Jameson Drive and the 10800 block of White Lane.
During each offense, the juvenile suspects used a stun gun to threaten and
assault the victims, then take their property which consisted of a bike, a
skateboard and an iPhone in each case respectively.
The ongoing investigation led to the arrest of the six juveniles for 3 counts
of robbery and 3 counts of conspiracy. One suspect was additionally
arrested for possession of stolen property.
