The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the community’s assistance in identifying a
suspect wanted for robbery.
On 8/31/11, at about 8:20 p.m., the victim was walking south on Emerson Street from Surrey
Lane when two suspects occupying a 4-door, black Pontiac GT, with a spoiler stopped
alongside him. The passenger suspect got out of the vehicle, pointed a gun at the victim and
demanded his money .The suspect reentered the vehicle and it was last seen traveling north on
New Stine Road from Surrey Lane.
The suspect was described as a Black male, approximately 5’08”, thin build and having short
black hair. Attached is a computer generated composite of the suspect.
Anyone with information regarding either suspect or the vehicle is encouraged to call Detective
Jeff Saso at 326-3535.
