3. CONSENT CALENDAR
A. Consent Calendar Non-Public Hearing Items:
1. Minutes of the regular meeting held November 10, 2009.
APPROVED
Motion by Underwood to approve non-public hearing items.
Haynes abstained as he was not present at the November 10, 2009 meeting.
B. Public Hearing Items:
File No. 09-0674 CONTINUED
1. –Approval to continue to January 12, 2010 a
zoning modification to allow for the retention of an existing 14-
foot tall RV canopy within the required 5-foot side yard setback
in an R-1 (One-Family Dwelling) zone district located at 5401
Trimont Drive.
File No. 09-0794 RES 09-25
2. – Approval of azoning modification to waive
the requirement to construct a six-foot high masonry wall
adjacent to residentially zoned property in conjunction with the
redevelopment of a community center in an M-2 (General
Manufacturing) zone district located at 2424 Cottonwood Road.

construct a 66-foot tall religious symbol on a church
sanctuary/chapel building where a maximum height of 45 feet
is permitted in an R-1-CH (One-Family Dwelling/Church) zone
district located at 4500 Buena Vista Road.
Underwood requested the removal of public hearing item 3.B.3 from
the consent calendar.
APPROVED
Motion by Haynes to continue public hearing item 3.B.1 to January 12,
2010, to approve public hearing item 3.B.2, and to remove public
hearing item 3.B.3 from the consent calendar.
4. PUBLIC HEARINGS

1. – Zoning modification to construct a 66-foot tall
